Restaurant General Manager – Al Wadi (Ras Al Khaimah)

About the role

The Al Wadi Restaurant General Manager leads daily operations for the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas, ensuring high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance. The role involves hands‑on supervision, menu planning support, and continuous improvement of guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all restaurant staff, stepping in to perform duties during absences.
• Maintain service and sanitation standards across restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service areas.
• Review staffing levels to meet guest service needs, operational requirements and financial targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering trust, respect and high productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all food‑handling, sanitation, liquor laws and hotel policies through training and hands‑on management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handle guest complaints, and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and invoice payment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in food & beverage, culinary or related fields.
• OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
