Restaurant Manager – Bar & Lounge

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations of the Rush Bar lounge, supervising staff, promoting the venue, and maintaining service and quality standards. The role includes menu planning, liquor inventory control, and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bar and lounge operations, ensuring compliance with beverage policies and local liquor laws.
• Control inventory, monitor costs, and oversee budgeting to meet financial targets.
• Lead, train and schedule bar staff to deliver high‑quality service during peak periods.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints and drive continuous improvement in service standards.
• Support HR activities including orientation, performance coaching and corrective action plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in hospitality‑related field with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage bar/lounge operations, inventory, budgeting and staff supervision.
