Restaurant Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant and bar at Desert Islands Resort & Spa, an Anantara luxury property in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior F&B leadership, the role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and developing the Food & Beverage team. The position primarily works evening shifts and requires weekend availability.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and control restaurant operations to provide high‑quality dining services.
• Oversee smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high‑performing team.
• Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Available to work predominantly evening shifts.
• Available to work weekends as required.
