Restaurant Manager – Pre‑opening Flagship

About the role

We are seeking a warm, hands‑on Restaurant Manager to join the pre‑opening team of Dhaba’s new flagship restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations, manage reservations, floor flow and guest relations while upholding Dhaba’s SOPs and premium‑casual positioning.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate the front‑of‑house team, leading pre‑service briefings and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Control financial performance by managing sales, cash handling, POS reporting, analysing labour, COGS and inventory, and taking actions to improve profitability.
• Maintain brand standards, visual grooming, and ensure compliance with UAE health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams on timing, presentation and stock control, and support purchasing and supplier coordination.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in premium‑casual or fine‑dining environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant financials, POS systems and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English, Arabic or Hindi a plus.
• UAE F&B experience preferred; pre‑opening experience considered a strong advantage.
