Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Bateel International is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor in Dubai, reporting to the Restaurant Manager. The role supports the café management team in the day-to-day running of the outlet, ensures the highest standard of food and beverage quality and acts as a brand ambassador by delivering a personalised, exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, thoughtful guest experience, anticipate customer needs and handle guest queries or complaints, escalating issues to the duty manager when appropriate
• Maintain café performance, policies and procedures, including manuals, SOPs and HACCP
• Oversee guest orders, assist with cashiering and invoicing, and run routine checklists, set-ups and floor organisation before and after each shift
• Oversee cleaning according to schedules and the duty manager's instructions
• Keep abreast of company products and services to promote them to guests
• Carry out accurate monthly inventories and help with purchasing, issuing and stock control
• Support team welfare, safety and development; supervise performance, give constructive feedback, hold team briefings in the manager's absence, arrange cover and train new staff
• Uphold grooming guidelines, food and product quality, equipment and floor standards, and resolve maintenance issues promptly
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation, food safety, fire and first aid regulations in line with company policy and local laws

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the F&B industry in a managerial position
• High school certificate or diploma
• Occupational health card
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English
