Revenue Executive

About the role

Viya, the UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group, is hiring a Revenue Executive in Dubai. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the role supports the manager in maximising revenue and profits across multiple outlets and departments through coordinated revenue management processes, inventory and pricing strategies, and demand monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and measure inventory and pricing strategies to optimise revenues
• Monitor distribution channels, market mix and pricing, communicate demand patterns and assist with forecasting
• Analyse yield, gather statistics and identify new business, markets and trends
• Monitor the three-month market segment outlook daily against forecasts
• Run competitor price and product analyses and take part in pricing decisions for transient, group and wholesale segments
• Facilitate weekly sales and revenue strategy meetings and complete and analyse month-end reports
• Implement daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting and support the Reservations, Sales and MICE Sales departments in revenue maximisation
• Check upcoming events and exhibitions and update property and channel management systems
• Take part in business planning for other revenue-generating departments and in quality standards, audits and information security awareness

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred
• Two years of revenue management or yield experience
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure and independently, and good communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English

• Use of PMS, reservation and revenue management systems to forecast and implement strategies
• Spreadsheets and statistical methods for data analysis
• PowerPoint and basic photo/image editing tools
