Revenue Manager

About the role

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the revenue management functions and inventory strategy for hotels across all brands in the Dubai market. This includes all room segments (transient, group, and contract) as well as catering and function space. The role also involves communicating revenue‑management philosophies, pricing strategies, competitive positioning and restrictions to hotel teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core revenue‑management services for Transient, Group & Catering segments, ensuring full system adoption and timely implementation of strategy changes.
• Manage room authorizations, rates, restrictions and inventory to maximize RevPAR and profit.
• Analyse competitive performance, market‑share data and forecasting tools to make pricing recommendations.
• Conduct weekly sales‑strategy meetings with General Managers and property staff to educate and evaluate pricing and inventory strategies.
• Execute e‑channel, OTA, special‑event and holiday strategies, including loading promotions, packages and rate restrictions.
• Prepare and submit regular performance reports, revenue projections and diagnostic recommendations.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in revenue management, sales, marketing or a related professional area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Marriott revenue‑management systems and tools.
• Experience using One Yield Retail Pricing Optimizer.
• Familiarity with Premium Room Pricing tool (PRP) and High Performance Pricing.
• Ability to conduct market‑share analysis and demand‑forecasting using reservation and forecasting systems.
