Reverse Osmosis Design Engineer

About the role

The Reverse Osmosis Design Engineer will evaluate tenders and inquiries, prepare techno‑commercial proposals, and deliver detailed hydraulic and process designs for water and wastewater treatment plants. The role supports both the sales pipeline and project execution, ensuring optimized solutions for municipal and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare process designs, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, equipment layouts and technical submittals.
• Review tender documents, develop optimized technical and commercial proposals, and prepare cost estimates and life‑cycle analyses.
• Coordinate proposal submissions, liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
• Support awarded projects during execution, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Identify innovative technologies and process improvements to enhance project competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment industry.
• Strong knowledge of RO, UF, DI, UV and other membrane technologies.

Required skills

• Process design, optimization and simulation.
• Hydraulic calculations and engineering documentation.
• Equipment selection, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of RO & UF plants.
• Cost estimation and budgeting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
