About the role
Cigna Global Healthcare Benefits is expanding in the Middle East and seeks a Senior Analyst to join the Underwriting team in Dubai. You will analyse market trends, develop pricing strategies and manage financial underwriting of group healthcare risks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex pricing models used by international group underwriters.
- Streamline financial metrics reports and evaluate, price, and modify plan designs for renewals and new business.
- Collaborate with client managers and brokers to meet product and pricing expectations.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, balancing profitability and revenue while analysing trends for future benefit adjustments.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial or data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Strong numeracy, accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (modeling and reporting).
- SQL for querying large data sets.
- Familiarity with Power BI (preferred).
