Robot Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Robot Service Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, repair, and daily operation of robotic platforms. You will work both in our workshop and on‑site at customer locations, ensuring robots remain operational and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and functional testing on robotic platforms.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues.
• Replace or repair components such as motors, actuators, sensors, batteries, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
• Support robot deployments, commissioning, site installations, and demonstrations.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate replacement requirements.
• Transport, prepare, and configure robots for trials and customer deployments.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain workshop tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, robotics, automation systems, or field service.
• UAE driving licence and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Physical ability to lift equipment up to 30 kg and work in workshop, industrial, and outdoor environments.

Required skills

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with multimeters and electrical diagnostic tools.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly.
• Understanding of DC power systems, batteries, connectors, and wiring.
• Familiarity with sensors, motors, actuators, and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical faults.
• Computer skills for reporting and diagnostics.
