Rope Access Technician

About the role

The Rope Access Technician will work on‑site in Dubai, performing rope access operations on high‑rise and complex structures. The role involves façade cleaning, routine maintenance, repairs and installations while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute safe work‑at‑height tasks using industrial rope systems.
• Set up, inspect and maintain rope access equipment and related safety gear.
• Carry out façade cleaning, maintenance, repairs and installations on high‑rise assets.
• Perform visual and basic technical inspections, document work performed and report defects or hazards.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to ensure projects stay on schedule with minimal disruption.

Required profile

• Valid IRATA (or equivalent) rope access certification – Level 1 or higher.
• Current work‑at‑height training and strong understanding of related safety standards.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor, elevated and challenging conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with access equipment such as MEWPs, BMUs or scaffolding.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
