About the role
The Runner supports the restaurant floor by ensuring guests receive prompt service and that the dining environment remains clean and well‑stocked. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with customers and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers on arrival or when seated and assist with order taking to reduce waiting times.
- Clean and polish equipment, glassware, crockery, cutlery and chinaware using defined methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas to facilitate smooth service.
- Assist in the induction training of new employees.
- Participate in the restaurant closing process, checking condiment expiry dates, replenishing table supplies, and handling dirty linen.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 0‑1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- English language proficiency is a plus.
