Safety Officer

About the role

The Safety Officer will manage day‑to‑day health and safety operations on construction sites, providing technical support to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. The role requires strong knowledge of civil engineering construction, emergency procedures, and traffic management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor health‑and‑safety management plans on site.
• Conduct risk assessments and produce activity reports.
• Prepare and manage traffic diversion schemes for work zones.
• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with DM and RTA manuals.
• Supervise construction activities related to recycled water, sewage, and pumping stations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Safety from a recognized institute.
• Minimum two years of safety experience in network or infrastructure construction.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
