Sage X3 Functional Consultant

About the role

Bridge Talent is looking for an experienced Sage X3 Functional Consultant to manage end-to-end ERP implementation, enhancement and support projects. The consultant needs strong functional knowledge of Sage X3 and a good understanding of business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and related operational areas. The position is full-time and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and take part in end-to-end Sage X3 implementation and support projects
• Run requirement-gathering workshops and analyse existing business processes
• Perform business process analysis, gap analysis and solution design
• Configure Sage X3 modules according to approved business requirements
• Prepare functional specifications for customisations, reports, interfaces and integrations
• Work with technical consultants and developers on customisations and integrations
• Configure and support Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and Distribution processes
• Support data migration, master-data preparation, validation and reconciliation
• Prepare test scenarios and coordinate SIT and UAT with business users
• Deliver end-user training and functional/user documentation, and provide go-live and post-go-live support
• Troubleshoot functional issues and manage change requests
• Work with customers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Required profile

• 3-7+ years of ERP functional consulting experience with strong hands-on Sage X3 experience
• Experience in at least two Sage X3 modules, preferably Finance & Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution or Manufacturing
• Complete ERP implementation lifecycle experience, from requirements gathering through go-live and support
• Experience preparing BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, test scripts and training documentation
• Ability to manage several assignments and work independently with customers

Required skills

• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP best practices
• Advantageous: ERP integrations and APIs knowledge, Sage X3 certification, UAE VAT and corporate tax experience, and experience with manufacturing, trading, distribution, retail or services organisations in the UAE/GCC
