Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to join Harvard Logistics in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on driving B2B sales, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence within the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with prospects about business challenges, requirements, and cost‑benefit options.
• Maintain up‑to‑date domain knowledge to hold meaningful conversations with prospects.
• Draft and deliver proposals.
• Report on sales activity through daily visit reports.
• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed sales.
• Prospect for potential customers using direct methods (calls, face‑to‑face meetings) and indirect methods (networking, social selling) within the assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers.
• Represent the company positively in the marketplace.
• Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions for effective follow‑up.
• Provide forecasts on best‑case and most‑likely sales volumes.
• Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute lead‑generation campaigns.
• Give feedback to sales management on ways to shorten the sales cycle and improve branding.
• Report market trends, competitive threats, and unmet customer needs to company leadership.
• Conduct all sales activities with the highest professionalism and integrity.
