Sales Associate – Retail Customer Service

About the role

The Sales Associate is responsible for representing the brand and driving store sales through exceptional customer service and a strong retail experience. The role also includes operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist them in selecting the right products, and convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Follow the GUEST selling methodology (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank) and stay updated on all brand lines for suggestive selling.
• Ensure stock is displayed attractively according to layout and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Record inventory movements and maintain accurate stock reports.
• Handle the POS/billing counter efficiently, manage cash tills at shift start and end, and process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately.
• Maintain store security, adhere to loss‑prevention policies, and keep sales figures confidential.

Required profile

• Presentable and well‑groomed at all times.
• Flexible to work extended hours during sale periods and varied shifts as needed.
• Possess up‑to‑date product knowledge and ensure minimal stock loss.
• Willing to work overtime to meet business requirements.
