Sales Associate – Retail

About the role

The Sales Associate will represent Apparel Group’s retail brand in Dubai, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will maintain store standards, support visual merchandising, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, guiding them to products that meet their needs and converting browsers into buyers.
• Promote the loyalty program and educate shoppers on product features, benefits, and care instructions.
• Maintain a well‑groomed appearance and flexible availability, including extended hours during peak periods.
• Arrange merchandise according to visual merchandising guidelines and manage stock, including clearance items.
• Accurately operate the POS system, process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash till each shift.
• Record inventory movements, replenish the sales floor, and support loss‑prevention policies.
• Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and willingness to work flexible hours.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow store procedures.

Required skills

• Cash handling and transaction processing.
