Sales & Business Development Manager – Rig Services (UAE & GCC)

About the role

Sigma Enterprises Company LLC is building a new Rig Services business segment across the UAE and GCC. The role combines deep technical knowledge of drilling rigs and equipment with strong commercial and business‑development capabilities to serve drilling contractors and rig operators.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle – from lead generation and technical discovery to proposal, tendering, negotiation, contract award and after‑sales follow‑up.
• Develop strategic account plans and a structured pipeline for new projects, shutdowns, maintenance campaigns, upgrades and recurring service opportunities.
• Visit drilling sites, rig bases and customer offices to understand operating conditions, equipment performance and service requirements.
• Coordinate with internal technical, service, logistics and commercial teams to create compliant, competitive solutions.
• Prepare and manage technical‑commercial proposals, pre‑qualification submissions, tenders and contractual clarifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling operations, rig equipment, rig services or a closely related engineering environment.
• At least 5 years of technical sales, account management or business‑development experience serving drilling contractors or rig operators.
• Proven record of winning tenders, developing accounts and growing service or engineered‑product business.

Required skills

• Strong practical understanding of drilling rigs, rig equipment and associated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, develop technical‑commercial solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and ERP/CRM systems.
