Sales Consultant

About the role

The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving vehicle sales, maximizing dealership revenue, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing personalized vehicle recommendations, and guiding customers through the sales process to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with potential customers to understand their automotive needs and provide detailed information on vehicles, features, and options.
• Utilize persuasive selling techniques to close deals and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, addressing concerns, and explaining pricing, financing options, and promotions.
• Coordinate test drives, negotiate terms, and manage paperwork while collaborating with finance and insurance departments.
• Conduct market research to identify target segments, monitor competitor activity, and develop sales strategies for growth.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory, and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• High School Diploma; sales certifications or recognized motor‑industry qualifications are preferred.
