Sales Engineer - Building Materials / Interior

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our interior and building‑materials portfolio in the UAE/GCC market. You will combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify project opportunities, propose suitable solutions and close sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and achieve sales targets for interior and building‑material products.
• Identify new project opportunities and generate leads through site visits and networking.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical proposals and material submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to obtain product approvals and meet technical requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while acquiring new accounts.
• Track opportunities from enquiry through negotiation to order confirmation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in technical or project sales of interior products or building materials.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and material requirements.
• Experience dealing with consultants, architects, interior designers, developers and contractors.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• UAE/GCC market experience and an existing professional network are a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (advantage).
