Sales Engineer – Construction Chemicals

About the role

The Sales Engineer will be based in Dubai and will drive new business while managing existing accounts for Matex's construction chemical portfolio. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, delivering product recommendations that meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors and other project stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities, qualify leads and follow up to support sales growth.
• Conduct technical presentations, site visits, product demonstrations and prepare accurate quotations.
• Coordinate with technical, production and operations teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to aid forecasting and strategic planning.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, opportunities and project status in CRM and internal systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering or construction chemicals.
• Proven ability to understand project requirements and recommend suitable chemical solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred and ability to travel to construction sites.
