Sales Engineer – Drilling Products

About the role

Ali & Sons Holding LLC is seeking a technically driven Sales Engineer to promote and support drilling products across the UAE. The role blends field operations, supplier coordination, and client‑facing activities to deliver high‑quality drilling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Section Head in supplier sourcing, quotation review, and vendor selection.
• Coordinate timely delivery of drilling equipment and materials to clients.
• Manage relationships with international principals and suppliers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, and follow up on payments and collections.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to gather feedback and identify new business opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, technical discussions, and deliver presentations.
• Provide after‑sales technical support in collaboration with suppliers.
• Conduct field visits to rigs, yards, and customer sites to support product applications.
• Prepare sales, activity, and performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering, technical support, or drilling products within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work both in office and on‑site at rigs and client locations.
