Sales Engineer – Industrial Wear Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to develop sales and business opportunities for wear‑resistant products, fabricated wear parts, and engineered industrial solutions across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers in quarrying, cement, recycling, construction, mining and other heavy‑industrial sectors.
• Conduct regular site visits to understand wear‑related problems and equipment requirements.
• Recommend appropriate wear‑resistant materials and engineered solutions based on operating conditions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to prepare commercial proposals.
• Prepare estimates, quotations and coordinate with engineering and production teams for custom fabrication.
• Develop relationships with plant managers, maintenance engineers, procurement teams and provide technical presentations and training.
• Maintain an active pipeline of enquiries, quotations and follow‑up to close orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in wear‑solutions, steel products, metal fabrication or aftermarket industrial products.
• Experience in technical sales and estimating within a subcontract manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, machining and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong numerical ability for preparing quotations and reports.
• Fluent English communication and a valid UAE driving licence.
