Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will support alfanar Electric’s growth in the UAE by managing inquiries, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating material delivery for electrical construction projects. The role focuses on enhancing the company’s competitive edge through market monitoring and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and track all incoming inquiries and tenders, providing optimal responses to customers.
• Prepare supportive documents, samples, and submittals to improve bid success.
• Collaborate with demand planning to ensure timely material preparation and delivery.
• Monitor competitors’ activities, analyse trends and report findings to sales management.
• Coordinate technical meetings, seminars and provide technical support to increase market presence.
• Generate timely reports for management and manage customer interactions professionally.
• Identify, track and follow‑up on projects to maximise realisation.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure prompt payment collection.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling inquiries, tenders and technical documentation in an engineering or construction environment.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams such as demand planning and sales management.
• Strong analytical skills for competitor monitoring and market trend analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and technical presentations.
