Sales Engineer – Marine Systems (Africa)

About the role

The Sales Engineer – Marine Systems will act as the bridge between Trelleborg’s engineering solutions and customer needs across the Africa region, based in Dubai. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will promote marine fender products, develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new and existing business opportunities for marine fender solutions.
• Support the Regional Manager in driving sales and marketing activities, including conferences, seminars and local advertising.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partners, consultants, agents and industry bodies.
• Provide market feedback on political, economic and industry trends, as well as competitor activities.
• Convert leads into quotations, then into sales orders to meet regional targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM data with weekly updates and capture client feedback in the quality system.
• Participate in after‑sales site visits, inspections and support regional growth initiatives.
