Sales Executive – Events (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Sales Executive for its Events department at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection resort in Ajman. The role focuses on handling guest enquiries, processing reservations, and driving revenue through up‑selling while providing exceptional service to Arabic‑speaking guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests and problems, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary rewards.
• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or mail and enter Marriott Rewards information into the reservation system.
• Handle redemption of Marriott Rewards points and issue complimentary gifts such as tickets or vouchers.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Support management in training and motivating staff, acting as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in sales, hospitality or event services.
• Fluent Arabic speaking and professional English communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ajman and follow uniform and appearance standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation and guest‑management software.
• Strong telephone etiquette and written communication.
• Basic office skills including filing, emailing and data entry.
