Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive corporate, leisure and group business for Sofitel Dubai Downtown. The role involves building new opportunities, maintaining client relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new corporate, leisure, travel trade, and group business opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, and hotel site inspections.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Promote hotel rooms, restaurants, conference facilities, banqueting, and other services.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and sales reports.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and business opportunities promptly.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Handle client feedback and resolve sales‑related issues professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑management skills.
• Good knowledge of the local corporate and hospitality market.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel/CRM systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is a plus.
