Sales Manager - Government & Free Zone Acquisition (UAE Nationals)

About the role

noqodi is looking for an Account Manager to grow its government and free-zone business in the UAE. The role wins new federal, emirate-level and free-zone entities and protects and grows the government accounts already served. It is the client's main point of contact, from first meeting to go-live and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of federal entities, Dubai and other emirate government departments and free-zone authorities, and win mandates for payment gateway, POS, Pay by Link, wallets, direct debit and refunds and disbursements.
• Drive onboarding of government entities and offer free-zone authorities a solution for their own collections, including the SME bundle (Business-in-a-Box).
• Own assigned government accounts, prevent loss of key accounts, grow them with more payment methods and services, hold regular account reviews and act as escalation point for client issues.
• Design solutions with the Manager – Acquiring Business, prepare proposals, presentations and commercial offers, and lead responses to government tenders and RFPs.
• Coordinate onboarding and integration with the client's IT team, track projects to go-live and follow up on adoption and satisfaction.
• Track government digital-payment initiatives and regulation, share competitor activity and client feedback, keep the CRM up to date and report pipeline, wins and account health monthly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years in sales, business development or account management with government clients.
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech or government technology services strongly preferred.
• Track record of winning and growing government accounts in the UAE, and experience with government procurement, tenders and vendor registration.
• Existing relationships with federal, Dubai or Abu Dhabi government entities or free zones are a strong advantage.
• UAE nationals are preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of how government entities collect fees and payments, and of payment products such as payment gateway, POS, Pay by Link, wallets and direct debit.
• Knowledge of card and wallet payments, settlement and reconciliation.
• Awareness of UAE digital-government programmes and payment platforms.
• Strong communication in Arabic and English, including formal written Arabic.
