Sales Manager – InsurTech Start‑up

About the role

The Sales Manager will be the primary commercial voice for a pioneering InsurTech platform that digitises the facultative reinsurance lifecycle across MENA. You will design pipeline strategy, lead SaaS engagements with cedants and reinsurers, and own client relationships from prospecting through post‑signing.

Key responsibilities

• Own and build a pipeline of cedants, reinsurers, brokers and MGAs across UAE, GCC and wider MENA.
• Define engagement approaches, set sales targets, and report weekly to the COO and monthly to the executive team.
• Maintain the CRM as the single source of truth and deliver accurate 90‑day forecasts.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, conduct live product demos, and manage post‑sale client adoption and growth.
• Capture market intelligence and client feedback to inform product roadmap.
• Represent the company at industry events, with regulators, partners and investors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SaaS or fintech sales experience with a proven record of closing enterprise or institutional clients.
• Strong command of English and ability to translate complex technical platforms into commercial value.
• Self‑directed, proactive and collaborative with a senior‑level ownership mindset.
• Experience in insurance or reinsurance value chain is a plus.
