Sales Manager, SME & Growth

About the role

Airwallex is seeking a Sales Manager for the SME & Growth segment in Abu Dhabi. The role sits within the EMEA commercial team and is responsible for driving new client acquisition and expanding existing relationships across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with Sales Development, Direct Sales, Account Management and Channel teams to exceed revenue targets for the SME and growth market.
• Identify, prospect and close new SME customers (front‑book) while nurturing existing accounts (back‑book) to generate upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, leveraging data‑driven insights to optimise sales pipelines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including partners and internal product teams, to ensure seamless delivery of Airwallex solutions.
• Monitor market trends in the payments and financial services sector and position Airwallex as the preferred provider.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or payments.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and managing both new‑business and account‑based sales cycles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
