Sales & Marketing Coordinator (Hospitality)

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing Department of The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah. The role ensures smooth execution of sales activities, brand positioning and guest engagement while upholding the hotel’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties such as filing, correspondence, data entry, copying and document control to support the department.
• Prepare and maintain sales documentation including proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders, agreements and promotional materials.
• Enter, retrieve and verify sales data – leads, commissions, accounts – in relevant systems.
• Communicate with prospective clients and partners via phone and email, respond to inquiries, promote offers and support follow‑ups.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and clients, answering questions about hotel facilities, rates, packages and events.
• Promote the Chedi Al Bait brand internally and externally, ensuring consistency with heritage‑driven luxury values.
• Coordinate approved complimentary offerings for guests as part of relationship‑building initiatives.
• Assist with preview packages, site inspections and sales appointments, explaining terms and eligibility.
• Support management initiatives and departmental objectives through cooperation, accountability and proactive communication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospitality, sales, marketing or administrative support role.
