Sales Supply & Support Group Leader – Retail

About the role

The Sales Supply & Support Group Leader integrates retail communication and selling processes with store‑level supply processes. The role ensures strong alignment between supply and demand, secures agreed service levels at the lowest cost, and supports efficient logistics operations within the IKEA Dubai Festival City store.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure goods availability by minimizing non‑central shortages and monitoring central shortages.
• Create awareness of availability issues within the commercial team to reduce customer impact.
• Support sales with range management and timely administration of the range in the system.
• Assist the In‑store Logistics Manager with store range administration and article replenishment parameters.
• Provide forecast alignment for strategic articles and highlight discrepancies between central and store forecasts.
• Monitor automatic ordering processes and resolve order disruptions affecting availability.
• Address supply deviations with relevant teams to resolve supplier or transport performance issues.
• Drive sales goals for key articles and support commercial approaches for discontinued items.
• Maintain a 365‑day service level by minimizing shortages and supporting active sales steering.
• Identify team motivations, implement training plans, and foster a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum qualification).
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, supply chain, or logistics.
• Strong English language skills; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
