Sales Support Engineer (m/f/x) – UAE

About the role

Hauff-Technik, a leading European manufacturer of tight cable and pipe penetrations, is looking for a Sales Support Engineer in the United Arab Emirates. The role supports the Sales and Technical teams in preparing quotations, offers and technical proposals, and works closely with customers, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales and Technical team in preparing quotations, commercial offers, technical proposals, submittals, compliance documentation and product selections.
• Review customer enquiries, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings and specifications to identify suitable products and solutions.
• Coordinate with the Technical team on product selection, technical clarifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical and commercial documentation such as datasheets, catalogues, submittals, approval documents and compliance statements.
• Liaise internally to obtain pricing, product availability, lead times, delivery costs and technical information needed for quotations.
• Take part in project and site visits with the Technical team to assess site conditions and collect measurements, photographs and installation requirements.
• Help develop effective sealing solutions based on drawings, specifications and site conditions.
• Attend meetings with customers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, engineering support, construction, MEP, infrastructure or building materials are also considered.
• Good communication and coordination skills, working with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Willingness to attend project and site visits as required.
• A valid UAE driving licence is not required.
