About the role

The Sales Support Officer provides essential administrative and analytical assistance to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, accurate documentation, and effective customer interactions. This outsourced position focuses on maintaining sales databases, preparing reports, and supporting the overall productivity of the sales function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support such as handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and assisting with sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the banking system for reliable analysis.
• Prepare and manage sales documentation, including contracts, proposals, and reports.
• Assist in lead generation, tracking, and follow‑up using CRM tools.
• Produce regular sales reports, analyse key metrics and offer insights for forecasting.
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Monitor the sales pipeline, updating opportunity status and communicating progress.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, agencies and other departments to ensure seamless coordination.
• Support sales training sessions by preparing materials and handling logistics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in sales support or a related function.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, MIS or CRM platforms.
• Ability to analyse sales data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal interactions.
• Effective time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
