Salesforce Business Architect

About the role

Horizontal Digital, a digital consultancy for Fortune 500 companies, is hiring a Salesforce Business Architect in Dubai. The role sits at the intersection of business consulting, process architecture and Salesforce solution design, guiding clients from abstract business vision to structured, implementable requirements and supporting enterprise-wide process transformations across multiple Salesforce clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and stakeholder workshops, then turn business intent into capability models, BPMN process architectures, epics and user stories
• Own the requirements lifecycle, from ideation through backlog refinement and acceptance criteria, with full traceability to delivery
• Advise on using Salesforce out-of-the-box features versus customisation, and partner with Technical Architects on multi-cloud solutions
• Design functional solutions across core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Data/Revenue/Commerce) and oversee validation, UAT and business acceptance
• Build capability roadmaps, transformation blueprints and business cases linked to KPIs, and support target operating model and governance
• Support pre-sales, solution shaping and proposals, and identify expansion opportunities and cross-cloud use cases
• Mentor Business Analysts and Functional Consultants and contribute practice assets and delivery frameworks

Required profile

• 8+ years as a Business Architect, Functional Lead or Senior Consultant in Salesforce or digital transformation programs
• Strong client-facing experience leading workshops and stakeholder alignment
• Comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders and able to work across strategy, design and delivery governance
• Proven delivery of functional artifacts such as process maps, capability models and solution blueprints

Required skills

• BPMN process modelling and requirements engineering
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and configuration versus customisation trade-offs
• Experience across Sales, Service and Experience clouds; exposure to Commerce/Revenue/Data Cloud is a plus
• Salesforce consultant certificates (Sales, Service, Experience, Commerce, Revenue etc.) preferred
