Salon Hair Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Salon Hair Assistant to join our fast‑paced, client‑focused salon in Fujairah. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training and the chance to develop a solid foundation in hair care under the guidance of licensed stylists.

Key responsibilities

• Assist licensed stylists with client preparation, including shampooing, conditioning and scalp treatments.
• Perform basic blow‑drying services under supervision while ensuring client comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools and salon areas according to hygiene standards.
• Prepare and arrange hair care products, tools and accessories for daily use.
• Support stylists during appointments by managing towels, capes and styling products.
• Greet clients warmly, handle check‑in/check‑out procedures and contribute to a pleasant salon experience.
• Follow sanitation protocols for tools and equipment, including disinfection and proper storage.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of experience in a salon or beauty environment (internships or apprenticeships accepted).
• Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and grow within a team‑oriented environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting, bending and reaching.
• Valid identification and work permit where applicable.

Required skills
