SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA Finance Transformation

About the role

Cognizant is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead finance transformation projects on SAP S/4HANA for both B2B and B2C business models in Dubai. The role focuses on modernising legacy ERP landscapes, standardising financial processes, and delivering end‑to‑end finance solutions for complex, multi‑entity organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, including fit‑gap analysis, blueprint workshops and solution design.
• Configure core FICO modules such as General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre, Profit Centre, and Internal Orders.
• Support Universal Journal (ACDOCA) adoption and streamline financial close processes.
• Design and implement B2C order‑to‑cash, billing, revenue recognition and collections, as well as B2B procure‑to‑pay and intercompany accounting.
• Implement SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR/IFRS 15) for complex contract‑based revenue models.
• Configure controlling components – product costing, material ledger, profitability analysis (CO‑PA), overhead cost controlling and internal orders.
• Collaborate with SD, MM, PP, PS teams to ensure seamless FI‑CO integration and work with SAP BTP, Integration Suite and middleware for data integration.
• Partner with technical teams on RICEFW development, custom reports, BADIs and enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA finance transformation projects for B2B and B2C environments.
• Strong background in modernising legacy ERP systems and standardising financial processes across multi‑entity organisations.
• Ability to lead workshops, conduct fit‑gap analysis and engage with finance stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes, including order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay and revenue recognition.
