Scaffolding Supervisor

About the role

A Scaffolding Supervisor oversees the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding structures, ensuring full compliance with UAE safety regulations (OSHA/HSE). The role manages scaffolding teams, inspects materials, coordinates with site engineers and ensures structural integrity so projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, direct and motivate scaffolding teams, running daily toolbox talks and risk assessments (JSA)
• Perform daily inspections and certify scaffolding structures using Green/Red/Yellow tag systems
• Interpret construction drawings to determine scaffolding needs and manage material inventory
• Enforce safety standards, including working at height regulations
• Liaise with site managers, contractors and project stakeholders to align with project timelines

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of scaffolding experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role
• CISRS, OSHA or equivalent scaffolding supervisor certification is typically required
• Expertise in UAE construction site safety standards
