About the role
Bloom Charter Schools are recruiting a passionate and enthusiastic School Counsellor to join one of their charter schools in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The role offers the chance to work in a vibrant learning community that values diversity, professional development and innovation. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and work closely with senior and middle leaders, staff, pupils and parents to achieve excellence.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Relevant BA degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work.
- At least two years of postgraduate experience.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to set high personal and professional standards and act with integrity.
- Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo child protection screening, including ACRO checks for UK‑based applicants.
- Willingness to provide passport copy, education certificates, police clearance and three professional referees (including a current principal) as part of the application.
