School Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a warm, highly capable School Nurse for The Ivy’s new Business Bay campus opening in September. The nurse is a visible, trusted face, ensuring the health and safety of children throughout the school day in a high‑end, architecturally designed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily health and wellbeing checks, provide care for minor injuries and illnesses, and offer calm support to children.
• Run the on‑site clinic, managing medication administration, first‑aid supplies, health equipment and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records in line with DHA and KHDA requirements.
• Develop and update individual allergy and medical care plans in collaboration with families.
• Coordinate health screenings, monitor communicable illnesses and enforce exclusion and infection‑control procedures.
• Own emergency medical procedures, train staff in first aid awareness and respond decisively during incidents.
• Communicate health information to parents with discretion and care.
• Liaise with catering to ensure safe meal service and manage allergy considerations.

Required profile

• Valid DHA license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with attested credentials meeting DHA and KHDA standards.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric, school or nursery settings.
• Current BLS certification; PALS certification is a strong advantage.
• Warm, reassuring demeanor with strong communication skills.
