Science Teacher (Secondary) – August Start

About the role

GEMS Wellington International School is looking for an exceptional Science Teacher to join its high‑performing, fully inclusive British international school community starting in August 2027. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding Science lessons at secondary level, covering both GCSE and A‑Level curricula, and will contribute to the school’s vision of fostering socially responsible, empowered learners.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, including GCSE and A‑Level
• Demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
• Commitment to collaboration, sharing best practice and continuous professional growth
• Growth mindset, resilience, and solution‑focused approach
• Creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring students
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents
