Scientist & Systems Engineer – C4ISR Advanced Concept Engineer

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a senior Scientist and Systems Engineer to lead the design and modernization of C4ISR solutions in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on creating end‑to‑end network‑centric architectures, integrating ISR data, and delivering interoperable systems for joint operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design overall C4ISR systems, including networks, data links, and Battle Management System (BMS).
• Develop processing, fusion, and dissemination pipelines for multi‑source ISR data.
• Define network‑centric communications architecture and recommend data models, standards, and formats.
• Evaluate analysis tools and ensure open‑standard interoperability.
• Collaborate with end‑users, engineering disciplines, and third‑party vendors to shape requirements and proposals.
• Lead modernization initiatives for new C4ISR capabilities supporting joint operations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in C4ISR systems design and network‑centric communications.
• Experience working on ISR data management, fusion, and dissemination.
• Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Willingness to serve on an expatriate assignment (approximately 3 years).
