About the role

We are seeking a talented Script Writer / Researcher to join the AlMal Channel team, producing engaging financial content for a broad audience. The role involves researching financial topics, developing ideas, and crafting clear scripts that simplify complex concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on financial topics such as investing, economics, markets, business, and personal finance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with financial news, trends, and global economic developments.
• Generate compelling content ideas and episode concepts aligned with the channel’s vision.
• Verify facts, data, and sources to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Write engaging, well‑structured scripts for video content.
• Simplify complex financial concepts into easy‑to‑understand narratives for a broad audience.
• Edit and refine scripts for clarity, tone, and consistency with the brand voice.
• Adapt scripts for different platforms while maintaining impact.
• Collaborate closely with presenters, producers, and editors to ensure smooth execution.
• Revise scripts based on feedback and performance insights.
• Contribute to hooks, calls‑to‑action, and overall episode pacing.

Required profile

• Strong background and practical understanding of economics.
• 3–10 years of experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or journalism.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities with strong attention to factual accuracy.
• Familiarity with short‑form digital storytelling and social media platforms.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
