Scrum Master Banking Domain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in banking and financial services to lead Agile delivery teams. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, and technology teams to drive digital, regulatory, and business transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Remove blockers, manage dependencies and ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress, velocity and delivery metrics, ensuring timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
• Drive banking transformation, digitalisation and regulatory initiatives through Agile frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with banking projects such as Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Credit, Risk or Compliance.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent) preferred.
