Seasonal Palace Host (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

The Palace Host is a guest‑focused position at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts. Working on a six‑month seasonal basis, you will ensure guests receive continuous assistance, privacy, and a memorable experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information, help and assistance to all guests, building rapport and recognizing preferences.
• Maintain guest privacy and security while overseeing arrival and departure procedures as defined in the SOP manual.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Upsell rooms and other hotel services, handle guest feedback efficiently, and keep the Duty Manager informed of any significant issues.
• Operate and maintain hotel buggies, passing the required buggy driving test.
• Maintain pantry readiness, update guest history files, and ensure smooth operation of all equipment and tools.
• Communicate proactively with related departments to resolve requests and complaints, and take corrective actions to improve safety.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and all service outlets.
• Proactive attitude with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs, maintain confidentiality, and handle guest information responsibly.
• Willingness to drive hotel buggies and pass the associated test.
