Secondary History Teacher (GCSE & A-Level)

About the role

Safa Community School is seeking a dynamic and passionate History Teacher for its secondary department. You will teach across the full secondary age range, delivering both GCSE and A‑Level curricula within a vibrant, award‑winning UK‑based school community in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess History lessons in line with the British Curriculum, GCSE and A‑Level specifications.
• Set, mark and provide feedback on student work, maintaining accurate records of progress.
• Use data to inform instruction, monitor student achievement and implement timely interventions.
• Prepare students for public examinations, including mock exams and final assessments.
• Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, committed educator with a genuine love for History.
• Ability to teach across a wide ability range, from early secondary to senior students.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience (minimum 1 month) teaching the British Curriculum, GCSE and/or A‑Level is desirable.
