Secondary Maths Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for an experienced Secondary Maths Teacher to join its British curriculum school in Abu Dhabi. The role covers teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A‑Level courses, with an immediate start date.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that meet British curriculum standards up to at least GCSE level.
• Use a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and creation of teaching resources.
• Support students’ academic and pastoral wellbeing, promoting the school’s values and high expectations.
• Build positive relationships with parents through clear communication about student progress.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development and whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.
