Secondary Music Teacher – Dubai

About the role

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha is seeking an outstanding Secondary Music Teacher to join its vibrant Music Department in August 2026. This full‑time position offers the chance to teach Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering a broad curriculum that inspires a lifelong love of music.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Lead and support concerts, productions, ensembles, choirs and other extracurricular music activities.
• Develop students' performance, composition and musical appreciation skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the school’s innovative curriculum.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Music (or related) with a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Music across Key Stages 3‑5, including GCSE and A‑Level curricula.
• Passion for music education and a commitment to nurturing student talent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents and staff.
• Willingness to contribute actively to school life and community events.
