Section Head - Enforcement

About the role

The ADGM Registration Authority’s Monitoring & Enforcement Division seeks a senior professional to lead its Enforcement Section. Reporting to the Associate Director, Enforcement, you will shape and execute the authority’s enforcement strategy, ensuring compliance with ADGM commercial legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Associate Director to develop and propose the division’s enforcement strategy and annual operational plan.
• Oversee the delivery of the enforcement strategy, monitoring case selection, assessment, and quality of engagement.
• Independently manage and assess enforcement cases involving audit, corporate reporting, corporate conduct, fraudulent activities, beneficial ownership, real property, professional services and unlicensed activities.
• Lead investigations, gather evidence, and produce objective analysis and recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor and advise direct reports on investigations and assessments.
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential records for all cases and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, investigations or enforcement.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage complex cases within a legal or regulatory framework.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills, with a focus on objective, evidence‑based outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
