Security Officer – Hotel (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Security Officer ensures a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and property at a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. You will monitor premises, respond to incidents, and support emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol hotel areas, including guest zones, back‑of‑house, parking and service entrances.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify identification of staff, contractors and visitors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, emergencies and guest concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Assist with emergency evacuations, fire alarms and coordinate with local authorities.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Good knowledge of security procedures, emergency response and basic safety practices.
• Strong observation, attention to detail and calm demeanor under pressure.
• Physically fit, able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and logging incidents.
